The Wit and Wisdom of Mark Twain

Our Prime Timer luncheon was a delicious and delightful event that was enjoyed by all who attended.

Dick Robbins, a fellow Prime Timer, gave an interesting and enjoyable presentation on The Wit and Wisdom of Mark Twain, and we all came away with a deeper appreciation for this American author and humorist, often called "the father of American literature." It was surprising to learn that Mark Twain's works are still sold and enjoyed today by people here and abroad.

As always is the case, the food at the luncheon was exceptionally tasty, and topped off with pumpkin pie and whipped cream.

Everyone reading this (regardless of age)is urged to attend our upcoming luncheons
Our next event will be on January 22, 2009. More to come on this later, probably next year!
Call me or email me if you have any questions. Thanks a lot!

The "Wise" Men of IPC

Question: Who or what are "Wise men of IPC"?

Answer: Generally, any man approximately 60 or older (actually ALL men are welcome regardless of age).

We meet once a month, share breakfast and talk about almost anything and everything, including life experiences, challenges, sports, God sightings; both fun and serious stuff.

Pastor Tim Avazian is the IPC staff coordinator who sometimes is able to keep us on tract.

You ask, "why Wisemen"? Good question!  However we are wise enough to know that only God is really wise, and we have chosen to follow Him.
