Monday Afternoon and Evening Adult Education

Have Stitches Will Travel - Knitting Team Fellowship
Place: Fireside Alcove - 1:00 to 3:00 P.M.

We are the knitting, crocheting and sewing ministry of IPC created to meet people’s needs in the name and service of Jesus Christ. You can either join us on the church campus or do your handwork at home. Whether you prefer to work on smaller items like hats and scarves, or the larger items like Prayer Shawls or lap blankets, we welcome your participation. When you are knitting or crocheting for one of our mission projects, we can provide yarn to you free of charge. We also offer free crochet hooks suitable for making the smaller items. Completed articles are donated to children and adults in need around the world, from near to far.

Christian Apologetics Class - "Questions"
Place: Fireside Alcove - 6:30 to 8:00 P.M.

Teacher: Don Barkley

QUESTIONS...a nine month apologetics class every Monday morning from 6:30 to 8:00 in the Fireside Room. Learn how to think through your faith and answer tough questions people ask about God, Christ and the Bible. Many people have apathy or anger toward religion - friends, business associates…even family. At times we avoid spiritual conversations for fear of rejection, or not knowing what to say. We wish we were better prepared, and had good solid answers.

One of the nice features of this class is that you can enter anywhere along the way. While Christians are required to tell others about their faith in Christ many do not because they do not feel equipped to answer questions. This course covers difficult subjects like:

Isn’t the Bible put together by men and full of errors?
If God is loving and powerful, why is the world filled with evil and suffering?
If Christ is the only savior of the world, what about sincere believers in Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, and Buddhism…are they all wrong?

No sign-up necessary...Just show up. Coffee, orange juice, coffee cake and fruit are served while 16 participants learn how to give solid answers to questions about our Christian Faith.
