New Member Class
Each quarter, a New Member's Class is offered to those that are interested in learning more about Irvine Presbyterian Church. This class offers a basic overview of the Christian faith, the historical roots of the Presbyterian Church, practical steps in how one can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and how to become more connected in their relationships at IPC.
This class is a great way to meet and connect with the pastors, staff and church leaders of our church. Through our time together, you will be able to meet some new friends and establish a stronger connection to our church body.
If you are interested in finding out more about IPC or if you have been around and are ready to become a member of our congregation, please contact Linda Maestas with any questions and for information on our next scheduled New Members Class.
Faith & Commitment Class - For students in Grades 6, 7 & 8
We also offer a New Member's Class for students in grades 6th, 7th and 8th called "Faith and Commitment" led by the student ministries staff.
This is a 8 week course that provides an overview of the basics beliefs of the Christian, the "Best 30 minute church history lesson ever", the meaning of baptism, communion and how together we are to be Christ's disciples and interact with our culture with Christ's love.
The classes will be held on Sunday mornings during 1st service in the Youth Lounge.
We encourage your child to attend his/her regular 2nd service Sunday School class or Veritas and join us for the Faith and Commitment class during 1st service.
