How Can You Serve?
If you are looking for ways to grow and to serve, and are interested in knowing where God can use your gifts, please contact one of the committee members. We are always in need of helping hands to make each event successful. Your commitment is desired by God and, your giving of time and love is always blessed.
Our Focus
Through prayer and thoughtful consideration, we strive to create ministry opportunities where IPC women, neighbors, and visitors can:
- Share our desire to know and love God;
- Hear God's Word and encourage each other to grow in our knowledge and faith;
- Provide an environment where hearts may be softened to the Word of God; and
- Establish a loving and nurturing atmosphere where everyone will feel comfortable bringing friends, neighbors, co-workers, and relatives.
Ongoing Committees include: Monday Night Bible Study, Wednesday Morning Bible Study, Classic Women Bible Study, and Women in the Word.
Special Events Committees include: Christmas Cafe, Ladies' Crafts, Ladies' Time Out, Spring Cafe, Spring Retreat, Summer Retreat, and Winter Retreat.
Members of your Women's Ministries Team for 2010-2011 are listed in this booklet. We meet monthly to coordinate and plan upcoming events. As leaders, we also participate in a one-day retreat to specifically pray and seek God's will in our planning. Please contact any of us if you are interested in coming alongside us in Christian ministry.
Scholarships
We do our best to plan events with you in mind. We try to keep costs as low as possible, so that you will be able to attend many events throughout the year. However, since times of financial hardship are a reality, we offer, to any woman who needs it, access to full or partial scholarships. No questions are asked and strict confidentiality is upheld at all times. So please, don't let lack of money be a reason for not attending Women's Ministries events.
