Women in the Word: Summer 2011

Youth Lounge
We welcome women of all ages to worship God with music and song, prayer and fellowship. For six weeks, women from IPC or its mission partners will share their faith journey. There will be a different guest speaker each week, and each will bring a special gift and insight to us. During this time we seek to build and grow in our relationship with God, with each other, and to encourage and support one another in our own journey through life.

Jan, a writer, speaker, and spiritual director in Southern California, is a pastor's wife and mother, whose own experience of burnout led her to find meaningful ways to connect with God. Besides her own books (Enjoying the Presence of God, Savoring the Word of God, Abundant Simplicity), she's co-written with Dallas Willard (study guide for The Divine Conspiracy) and is active in Richard Foster's Renovaré Institute.
